                         INDIAN CREEK PET HOSPITAL BOARDING POLICY

                                PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING

Boarding rates are PER DAY, regardless of drop off or pickup time. Major holidays are billed at one and one half times the regular rate and require a 50% nonrefundable deposit. Animals which are not established patients of Indian Creek Pet Hospital will be given an exam by the veterinarian upon arrival. The fee for this exam is $24.90. Additional pets boarding at the same time will be examined at a reduced rate of $15.90. If your pet requires medication, vitamins, supplements, etc., there will be a $1.50 per dose administration fee. Insulin injections are billed at $11.10 each.

Aggressive pets requiring special handling will be an additional $29.25 per day. We reserve the right to refuse admission. If your pet becomes extremely agitated in a boarding situation, we reserve the right to sedate in order to ensure the safety of both the pet and staff. This is done under the supervision of the veterinarian and only in the most severe situations.

Vaccinations must be current and verifiable. CATS: Rabies, PRC, Leukemia (vaccine or test) and fecal. Bordetella is current if done within the previous 6 months. DOGS: Rabies, DHPP, heartworm screen and fecal test. Bordetella is current if done within the previous 6 months. Coronavirus vaccine is not required but highly recommended.  All animals will be inspected for fleas and ticks upon arrival. If your pet is found to have any parasites, these will be treated at your expense.

Permission to Treat: You have opted to board your pet at Indian Creek Pet Hospital and we take that responsibility very seriously. If your pet becomes ill during its stay, treatment will be administered by the on duty veterinarian. All procedures and medications will be your financial responsibility. Indian Creek Pet Hospital will not allow any illness or medical condition to go untreated.

Pets residing in the same household may board in the same kennel if you prefer and the veterinarian approves. This is done only at your request and there is no reduction in the boarding rate for this option. We reserve the right to separate them if they become aggressive towards each other or behavioral issues develop which may compromise their safety, health or comfort. Storm Release: In the event of SEVERE weather, every possible attempt will be made to ensure the safety and comfort of your pet. This may or may not include moving your pet to a safer location, returning the pet to you or your agent, or refusing admission prior to an approaching storm. Indian Creek Pet Hospital may not be manned during SEVERE weather. Staff will return to the facility as soon as safety permits and law enforcement opens the roads to travel. Neither Indian Creek Pet Hospital nor anyone affiliated with the hospital may be held responsible for your pet during and immediately following a severe weather event.
