Andrew has worked in the animal healthcare industry for many years. He was born and raised in sunny Miami where he was exposed to the most diverse species of animals he could ever imagine. At the age of 12, Andrew volunteered for the Miami Museum of Science where he learned animal husbandry and to care for injured or ill wildlife such as birds of prey. This helped fuel his passion for animal healthcare and conservation.
Andrew received his degree in biology and began working at the Miami Metro Zoo where he was a zoo keeper for 4 years. While working at the zoo, he gained experience with primates, big cats and reptiles. He assisted inphysical exams with field veterinarians at the zoo. This experience with the field vets changed his life by showing him veterinary medicine was where his passion lied. Andrew attended Sanford Brown College, an AVMA accredited technical school, where he earned his certificate in the field of Veterinary Technology.
He has a 6 year old terrier mix at home named “Penny” who is his best friend. His hobbies include fishing in the beautiful waters of SWFL. He also loves spending time hiking with his beautiful wife and playing with his 3 lovely sons who keep him busier than he ever imagined he could be.

Eric is one of the kennel/tech assistants at ICPH. He has a BS in Biology from Emory University. He held a six week internship at C.R.O.W. (The Clinic for Rehabilitation of Wildlife) on Sanibel and has shadowed doctors at both ICPH and Coral Vet Clinic. This can vary from making sure there are clean towels for cages and treatment areas are well stocked all the way to helping the doctors in the rooms. "My two pups, Eli & Wyatt, standard parti poodles stay healthy in part because we give them good food, plenty of exercise & a lot of love and attention, BUT, to round out their care, we needed a great vet and we found the perfect place at Indian Creek Pet Hospital. My dogs love visiting ICPH even when they get poked with needles! ICPH keeps my dogs healthy and that keeps me happy!"
